SOME OF THE THINGS WE HAVE DONE TO IMPROVE THE CHURCH......
In December 2009 we installed a much needed new lighting system, the old lights were out of date and the fittings out of reach, we took this opportunity to install low energy bulbs to ensure that the lighting was efficient and cost saving.

In February 2010 we embarked on repairs and renovations to the south porch, the main access to the church. Some stonework needed replacing and some required strengthening and re-pointing. Also the roof has been re-slated and the ceiling re-plastered. The existing floor has been taken up and replaced with a ramped floor for wheelchair access. We have also replaced the very old and defective external doors with new purpose made full height doors with glazed top panels.

In October 2010 our sound system and loop system for the hard of hearing was upgraded to a much better and more reliable system.
We are most grateful to all those that have given so generously to the above projects.

During 2013 repairs were done to the main tower which was in danger of collapse if the jointing was not repaired. This extremely large contract was completed, within budget, in December 2013.

Our next major project is to replace the floor, replace the heating and update the parish room/kitchen/toilet areas.
